Flagyl Metazometacin Tablets is a combination medication containing amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Flagyl Metazometacin Tablets are used to treat various bacterial infections in dogs, cats, and horses. This medication helps to eliminate the infection and reduce the severity of pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with bacterial infections.

Directions to use

If you are taking this medication for infections, especially:

• This medication is generally used to treat bacterial infections for which it is not effective
• This medication can be used together with a meal or snack to reduce the severity of the infection
• If you are not sure if any of the foods or drinks you are consuming are impacting your dogs or cats, you may choose to have a drink more than 1 to 3 times a day
• However, it is important to avoid drinking any alcohol whilst on this medication
• It is important not to give this medication to your pet

As an antimicrobial, Flagyl cannot be used to treat viral infections.
